NEVADA DESERT – USA
PEEP SHOW BOX – HYPERLOOP CAMPUS
Life in desert starts from itself.Architecture with the least impact can respect the desert and conceal itself at the heart of it.
Buildings with inspiration from their environment can provide us the opportunity to experience different habitats and future communicational infrastructures can ease this experience without the need of relocating.
And that can lead us to get used to experiencing a variety of different habitats.
Substructure, practicality and being symbolic have been the main purposes of this design with considering its environment.
The idea of the project was formed by bringing different worlds together. Speed is the most important factor in the Hyperloop project. This speed destroys the perception of distance. It’s as if we live in a “PEEP SHOW BOX” so that we are only one click away from moving between cities. This incident formed the idea of eliminating the distance between the earth and the sky in our minds. We placed a mirror in the heart of the desert in such a way that the sky is represented on the ground, and this caused the building to be hidden, and this building was an icon for the Hyperloop project. Speed brings these two sides together and we will experience several worlds together.
